Tell us a little bit about your self

I’m Megan Brunell. I’m 21 years old from Blackwood, Wales originally from Neath, Port Talbot. I’m a ginger haired and have blue eyes. I have to wear glasses which are like magnified glasses. I’m a fashion design student in University South Wales. I have a speaking language problem and currently being diagnosed with Autism.  I’m also a motorcyclist, I ride a Honda CBF and will be buying a Honda Deauville 650 very soon. I’m a HUGE animal lover, I’m desperate to have a pug, there is nothing more than I want is a pug and Vivienne Westwood bag (Of Course).

I’ve been modelling for 5 years now, I’ve worn clothes as such Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood and walked for London Fashion Week three times. This year I was apart of Britain’s Next Top Model, I did 6/10 episodes, which I’m really pleased with myself on getting so far in the competition.

What are your origins?

Blackwood, Wales.

How did you first come across modelling?

I didn’t really come across modelling. I first started when I was 16 an old friend who I still thank to this day for pushing me to do what could possibly become a career. Then ever since then I carried it on and went to a few meetings with agencies and connecting with photographers and I learnt how to model from watching out people when I was on shoot, so I was learning from films, photoshoots and direction of photographers to become better and more professional. I got signed when I was 17 with an agency in Bristol and I started doing editorials and photoshoots a bit more often. After then I started going a bit more freelance and getting offered a lot more work and carried onto this year which is going really well.

What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?

I think the most interesting shoot was I did an editorial a while back, where they dressed me up and retouched me into looking like a mannequin and they came out really well.

Do you have a skin care routine?

I have a great skin care routine, which involves a lot of water. I have a routine of taking my make up off with cleansing water and products from Skin Genius which are amazing.

My personal style? Gosh. I’m very much into band t-shirts and ripped jeans, but I’m a massive fan of H&M divide section, I spend most of my life and money in that section especially in the Oxford Circus Store in London. Massive fan of Doc Martens and Strappy heels. I do like a to dress up when I have the chance, I don’t get a lot of chances to do so since I’m always wearing a helmet and protective gear on the bike.

In my down time I listen to a lot of music, I’m obsessed with Harry Potter books, it’s taking me ages to get through them. I try to catch up on watching Pretty Little Liars, because it’s just amazing, I’m not the sort to get into that but I’m up to date on the series. I can crotchet and sew, so sometimes I’ll sit on the sofa in my pyjamas and crochet.

A friend sent me the application for it. Then I applied and I didn’t think I’d even get to the auditions.
