Honing in on her nostalgic yet fresh vibe that she’s often commended for, the skills songstress expresses her readiness for “something new”, with rejuvenating lyrics, a vibrant beat and sweet vocals. Produced by fellow Londoner and longtime collaborator, Big J, its clear that Meron has a unique musical lane thats endearing to witness.
Talking about “Like I Need” Meron says: “Sometimes we go through periods of uncertainty but the more you grow, the more you know yourself and how you receive love. So this song is about making the decision to do better for yourself and sticking to it.”
The visual also shows her creative nature as she recreates what she calls a MEZ Talk (alluding to her nickname and the popular global platform TED Talk), where she presents her thoughts in the song to an audience of different types of people, representing how many of us can relate to the empowering message.
