Introducing the talented Hollie Carmen, a London born and raised singer/songwriter. Growing up, Hollie spent her teenage years listening to the likes of Prince, Ray Charles, Erykah Badu, and Lauryn Hill with more recent inspiration taken from artists such as Dua Lipa, Jorja Smith, Alessia Cara, Frank Ocean, and Miguel.

Hollie is set to make a real statement with her brand new single Plan B. The sultry track showcases Hollie’s dynamic range, which oozes smooth and soulful tones. Hollie explains that Plan B is about finally finding my voice after a relationship I gave so much to and that I should’ve walked away from long before I actually did, ended. It’s about finding my power and being honest with myself about how I’d been treated.”

Plan B is available to stream here and buy here. Showing no signs of slowing down, Hollie has also announced the release of her debut EP also titled Plan B, on 20th March. In celebration of this, she will play The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington on 19th March. Tickets go on sale this Friday, here.

Last year, Hollie released her tracks Butterflies and Warrior Love and received support from tastemakers such as Clash Magazine and The Line Of Best Fit. With a plethora of written but unreleased music in the pipeline, it’s
an exciting time and all hands on deck for the young Londoner.
