Coperni Fall-Winter 2025: Where Fashion Meets Gaming at Paris Fashion Week

Coperni’s Fall/Winter 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week occurred at the Adidas Arena, an unconventional setting transformed into a high-tech gaming hub. Designers Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant orchestrated a “LAN Party” featuring over 200 gamers engaged in Fortnite, Rocket League, and League of Legends. Models wove through this digital landscape, merging high fashion with elements of gaming culture.

The collection opened with sharp, structured silhouettes in neutral tones, setting the tone for a blend of futurism and contemporary tailoring. Oversized wool coats with dramatic lapels and asymmetrical closures established a bold presence, while tailored suits featured unexpected cutouts and layered draping. Boxy, double-breasted blazers paired with micro shorts contrasted traditional power dressing and modern minimalism.

Draped jersey gowns with high slits and sharp, angular shoulders played with movement, appearing both sculptural and fluid. A selection of pieces integrated zippers in unconventional ways, allowing for transformable elements—trousers that could convert into shorts, jackets with removable sleeves, and skirts with expandable pleats. The outerwear selection ranged from glossy puffer coats to plush fur-lined parkas, echoing the eclectic layering of gaming subcultures.

Coperni’s signature futuristic aesthetic was further emphasized through metallic and iridescent fabrics. A standout look featured a structured corset dress in a mirror-like silver finish, reflecting the collection’s digital inspirations. Tribal-printed denim sets and tonal leather motorcycle suits referenced cyberpunk influences, while mesh tops layered over latex bodysuits nodded to the digitized avatars of gaming worlds.

Vibrant red emerged as a striking accent, breaking the predominantly monochrome palette. A sculpted, voluminous red coat in patent leather introduced a tactile contrast to the collection’s sleeker elements. Another red look featured a structured mini dress with exaggerated, origami-like folds, reinforcing the brand’s architectural approach to design. A recurring motif was mesh panels and sheer overlays, offering a glimpse of underlying structures while maintaining a sense of futuristic layering.

Accessories played a critical role in reinforcing the show’s theme. Collaborating with Tamagotchi resulted in mini handbags shaped like the nostalgic virtual pet device, reimagined in glossy resin finishes. Coperni also introduced Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, featuring built-in AI capabilities, blending style with functional technology. Footwear leaned into exaggerated proportions, with angular boots, thick-soled sneakers, and sleek, pointed-toe pumps appearing throughout the lineup.

The show’s setting, filled with LED screens, projected animations, and immersive soundscapes, highlighted Coperni’s integration of digital culture into high fashion. The models’ fluid movements among gaming stations blurred the lines between reality and virtual space, reinforcing the collection’s transformation, adaptability, and technological evolution themes. The fusion of traditional tailoring with hyper-modern materials and innovative accessories demonstrated Coperni’s continued exploration of contemporary narratives.
