ASH OLSEN RELEASES ACOUSTIC VISUALISER FOR SINGLE ‘LOW’

Taking no time to slow down, Ash Olsen delivers her spine-tingling, re-imagined version of the single “LOW”. Arriving as a mesmerising 2 and a half minute visual offering, Olsen transports us from our monotonous routines, into Ashy’s world and her time in the hills of Los Angeles. The video lands straight off the back of her recent announcement of being selected to play not one, but two stages at The Great  Escape Festival later this year.

The original version, listen here, kickstarted the month and resonated immediately with the press, from Wonderland Magazine, New Wave Magazine, Fizzy Magazine,  Noctis, Raydar Magazine and Oculate, all certifying Olsen as a firm one to watch this year.

In her own words, Ash Olsen tells us about the track;  ““Low” is about being in a relationship where things are just not going the right way.  You both know it’s not working out and all the emotions are being taken out on each other. In the track, it’s me being the one that tries to get her out of the negative, dark  and lost space she was in, which was an extremely difficult position to be in. And the end note is that she had me low because she was very low.”

Previous release “CRAZY BITCH!” was quickly picked up by UK press Notion and  Wonderland who continue to vouch for Ash Olsen as an international talent to keep a firm eye on. The track was sweeped up across DSP’s, Ash was the cover of  Spotify’s Flammer Playlist (50,000 listeners), featured in NMF Norway, Apple  Music’s New Music Daily Norway, New Music Daily Finland, New Norwegian  Rap, and Amazon Music’s ‘Breakthrough Hip-Hop’.

Within her home Territory of Norway, Ash has already secured this status having already climbed to the top of the local ranks and is considered as ‘the next big thing’ to take to international waters. Domestic successes include a plethora of  nominations at the Norwegian Grammys last year, being nominated as  ‘Newcomer of the Year’ at another highly influential Norwegian awards, P3 Gull, and receiving ardent support from one of Norway’s biggest radio stations  NRK P3, with ‘Ash Olsen’ being a name heard across national airwaves.
