Artemas releases new mixtape poised to become the summer’s next viral hit

Social media sensation Artemas releases his newest mixtape, titled yustyna, via 10K Projects. The mixtape includes 14 tracks that explore the intimate, the personal, and the desires. Tracks such as “stupidhead,” “i always kinda knew you’d be the death of me,” “you’re simply beautiful,” “i love you regardless,” “caroline,” and his viral song “i like the way you kiss me” are featured. The latter has garnered over 900 million global streams, 60 million video views, and has surpassed 3 million TikTok videos, becoming one of the most viral sounds of the first semester of 2024.

Throughout the soundtracks, the English singer, songwriter, and producer creates an honest and deep midnight conversation with his fan base, where boundaries blur through provocative and passionate lyrics. Even though at first glance the lyrics seem trivial, as listeners immerse themselves in the melody and his world, they discover a lot of depth in each word, which carries messages of love, desire, sensuality, and freedom. As Artemas affirmed, “You’ll either find it sexy or vulgar.”

Full of emotion, the songs are a fusion of techno beats and rock rhythms, a seductive invitation into Artemas’ private thoughts. Sensual sounds merge with upbeat rhythms, creating an amalgam of feelings for the listener. The tracks are perfect for both a wild party and a quiet moment to light up a cigarette in the room. Tracks like “ride me darling,” with a soft and deep rhythm, mix with the dynamic sound of “stupid head” and the electric rhythm of “wet dreams.” Each song is a different experience for the listener, who feels embedded in a confidential ambiance.

With songs like “slow dance,” reminiscent of 90s rock music, and “i always kinda knew you’d be the death of me” with a groovy sound, the self-taught multi-instrumentalist proves his mastery of different genres and his versatile approach to music and darkwave alt-pop. This demonstrates that, far from being a one-hit wonder, his music is in resonance with Gen-Z’s. Artemas says, “yustyna picks up from where my mixtape, ‘pretty,’ left off. The rude introduction to Artemas as a world and character. It’s intentionally divisive.” Each song lasts approximately between 1:30 and 3:00 minutes with catchy sounds and lyrics, likely to become viral hits.

The mixtape yustyna is being released today, just before his headline tour, which will start in Riga, Latvia on August 12 and will include 35 dates throughout Europe, Australia, and the United States.
