Vogue’s Alexandra Shulman to provide keynote talk at Pure London in February 2017


December 2016: Pure London 12-14 February 2017, London Olympia is set to welcome the fashion industry elite to its stages, with Alexandra Shulman announced as the show’s headline keynote speaker. The editor-in-chief of British Vogue will share highlights of her esteemed career on Sunday 12th February. With an enviable list of matchless journalistic contributions, Shulman is a respected, leading voice of the fashion world.
Shulman became the editor of British Vogue in 1992 and holds the title for the longest-serving editor in the history of the magazine. During this time, she has received global recognition for her work, with an abundance of awards including BSME Editor of the Year, PPA Editor of the Year award 2016, the WGSN Future 2016 Outstanding Achievement award, and an OBE in the 2005 New Year’s honours for her services to the magazine industry.

Shulman will add to a line-up of more than 30 inspiring speakers across the three days, with a whole host of panel discussions, Q&A’s, trends, insights and fashion-forward catwalk shows set to further enhance the visitor experience and guide buying choices at Pure London.
Other speakers include Christina Sheehy, Chief Sub-Editor at Net-A-Porter; Georgie Coleridge Cole, Editor and Founder at Sheerluxe; Lisa Maynard-Atem, Social Media Manager at Harrods; and Sara Maggioni, Director of Retail and Buying at WGSN. A highlight for buyers, stylists and designers each season, Maggioni will share the key looks, colours, shapes and fabrics set to be huge in Autumn Winter 2017. These looks will then be brought to life in the main runway show, with all outfits available to order from brands at Pure London.
