The fashion week in New York is the most anticipated week throughout the year. Many prestigious designers and new names are shaking the catwalk and venues, showed a complete innovation and some even dare to talk about more than they should.
This year, #NYFW has enjoyed the work of artists and design masters, showing plenty of options for everyone. In addition, it has highlighted the Fashion Week this year were the Ready to Wear collections, a trend that several firms are adopting and that benefits us all fashion lovers, by selling any outfit shown on the catwalk almost immediately.
I’ll tell you my favorite collections so far.
1. Saint Laurent Fall-Winter 2016-2017
My number one favorite, the vision of Glastombury Chic Hedi Slimane is fully represented in this collection. A show of mixed models that didn’t show in New York otherwise in Los Angeles. Glitter, fur, glam, blazers, coats, hats and generally the essence of rock & roll were present this season.

2. Diane Von Furstenberg DVF, Fall 2016.
Impeccable collection lead by the hand of the top models of the moment: Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Jourdan Dunn, Lily Aldridge, Irina Shayk, Karlie Kloss. Predominant colors and patterns of the sixties and seventies, disco-inspired clothing, cocktail dresses, ensembles and textures like glitter were the protagonists. Also don’t forget the glorious moment when the fashion squad of the momen, dance around Diane.

3. Rodarte Fall 2016
Kate and Laura Mulleavy celebrated their 10th anniversary with a dark, romantic collection. The flowers’s details in model’s hair, her lips softened quite obscure. Reigned the gothic feeling and, in my opinion, slightly Victorian. Lots of lace, almost like a movie character’s. This signature presents a collection with that deep essence and making references to the classic Rodarte. Hot moment: Kirsten Dunst in the front row.
